Toddlers and Preschoolers

The class can help you build your parenting confidence! You will join other parents and learn how to use our practical parenting skills, tips and strategies to create a bond that sets the foundation for a lifelong connection with your children. The live interactive class helps you understand how your young child learns and grows. You will find creative ways to nurture your child’s unique development, while setting reasonable expectations using a positive discipline approach. This class meets once a week. In-person classes are typically two-hour sessions, while virtual classes are 30-minute live lessons.

The class covers the following:

• How I Grow and Learn — Helps parents understand development, set expectations, and find different ways to nurture their children.

• My First Teachers — Helps parents teach children right from wrong using clear communication and reasonable positive and negative consequences.

• Catch Me Being Good — Helps parents observe and create more opportunities to encourage good behavior through praise, attention, and affection.

• Teach Me What to Do — Helps parents learn effective ways to teach children better habits through practice.

• Help Me Do What's Right — Shows parents how to correct problem behaviors without a power struggle.

• Help Me Calm Down — Teaches parents how to correct problem behaviors and give children the time and skills needed to calm down.

• Putting It All Together — Helps parents develop a parenting style that will improve relationships with their children.

Experience fun learning activities tailored to help you continue to enjoy your child’s toddler and preschooler years. Cost: $100 per parent. (Some class fees may be waived depending on your location)
