Common Sense Parenting® Classes
Common Sense Parenting®
Real Tools. Real Results. For Everyday Parenting.
Parenting is one of life’s toughest jobs — but you don’t have to do it alone. Common Sense Parenting® (CSP) is a practical, skill-based program designed to give you proven tools to handle everyday challenges with confidence and calm.
Developed by Boys Town, a national leader in child care and family support for more than 100 years, Common Sense Parenting has helped thousands of parents around the world create stronger, more positive relationships with their children.
Through live, interactive classes — available in person or virtually — you’ll learn proven techniques grounded in research and real-life experience. Each class offers step-by-step guidance through instruction, modeling, and hands-on practice. You’ll walk away with practical strategies you can use immediately to improve communication, reduce problem behaviors, and build a more peaceful home.
Classes are led by professionally trained instructors and kept small to ensure personal attention — up to 10 parents per session. In-person classes are typically two-hour sessions, while virtual classes are convenient 30-minute live lessons. All materials (textbook, workbook, skill cards, and more) are included.
At the end of the class, participants receive a certificate of completion or letter of recommendation. Ongoing support continues through our Parenting.org website, CSP Facebook page, and monthly Facebook chats, so you’re never without guidance or encouragement.
